Dr. Rafano obtained his psychiatry training at Harvard South Shore Program of the Harvard Medical School. Before becoming a psychiatrist, Dr. Rafano practiced General Medicine/Geriatrics and Oncology for the Department of Health and Hospitals, Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Rafano's current practice is mainly psychopharmacology, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management which is psycho-socially sensitive, dynamically informed, and individually tailored.
