Counseling is a collaborative effort between the client and me.  My approach is integrated involving the identification of the strengths, values, spirituality, needs and culture of the individual or couple and uses them as resources in developing goals.  I emphasize solutions and look at one’s hopes for their future. I use techniques which focus on changing thoughts, behaviors, and emotions and look at the system (how a person is in relation to family, friends, and other natural supports) to assist the client in finding health, balance, and life satisfaction.

B.S. in Business Administration, Washington State University
M.A. in Counseling candidate at George Fox University, Portland, OR
Clinical internship at Lower Columbia Mental Health in progress, ongoing supervision and consultation with Ron Lehto, MS, NCC, BCPC, Dir. Of Business Development/Clinician
