Debra Perko-Kornberg has over 25 years experience as a therapist for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She earned a Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in psychology from the University of Illinois in 1972 and a Master's Degree in counseling psychology from the University of Oregon in 1983. She is a qualified Mental Health Professional and a Child Mental Health Specialist. She holds two certifications in the State of Washington; Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.

Debra uses a multi-theoretical approach in assisting individuals and families to change. She uses the technique most effective in reaching the client's targeted outcome. Debra has extensive experience in assisting parents in becoming effective and understanding the developmental stages of their children. She specializes in teaching effective communication skills to couples, families, and groups. She has extensive experience working with individuals and families in recovery from substance abuse issues.
