School-based Services
We are proud to offer a wide variety of services catering to children, families and faculty in school settings. Children spend most of their waking hours at school. We are committed to a collaborative approach to serving children in their most comfortable/current environment.
Families and teachers are a crucial to a student's success. We value inclusive treatment with families and effective communication with teachers. We endeavor to cater our services to each student, family and school for the most positive outcomes. We provide services in every Cowlitz County school district, as well as Head Start in Cowlitz County.
Cowlitz County Guidance Association's school services include:
- State-funded Therapy, Psychology and Psychiatry
- Cowlitz County Youth Service Center Services
- Safe Schools Healthy Students, funded through Educational Service District 112
- Wraparound Pilot Project, funded though the State of Washington, Mental Health Division
- Private Contracts with Schools
- Student Safety Assessments
- Crisis Response Services
