Incorporated in 1953, the Cowlitz County Guidance Association is a private, non-profit organization. Association membership consists of community leaders and volunteers interested in promoting mental health in our community. We envision a community of health and happiness, where good mental health is a foundation for success.

Lower Columbia Mental Health Center provides a wide range of treatment to support recovery from mental health difficulties. Our highly skilled and educated clinical staff provides therapy, case management and psychiatry.
Lower Columbia services are funded by a combination of Medicaid, State of Washington funds, insurances and private fees. We have variable fees based on income, with free services available.

Riverview Psychiatric & Counseling Service provides employee assistance plans, critical incident stress debriefing and a myriad of contracted specialty services provided by our staff of skilled clinicians. Riverview offers a wide range of top-notch therapy, psychology and psychiatry.
Riverview services are funded by private payments and contracts with companies. Riverview accepts many insurances.
